Final class assessment.

 I find that most of my communication is through either email or text; because of this I can effectively collaborate very well with friends, family and fellow colleagues through chat or text on a regular basis.

 Having more experience  using Office Windows programs, has made me fairly confident when using power point, word and excel and implementing them in documents.

 I did not know how to create a blog, wiki or web page prior to taking 150 technology. With new learned skills I am now much more fluent when using tools on Google, (which many of them I did not even know existed).

I have learned out to create spreadsheets on Office 2010 as well as using graph tools on Google. I can create and implement graphs in word and power point.

With my last project in class I learned through YouTube instruction how to implement videos in a power point and successfully implemented two videos in my final project.

I am fairly comfortable with using Office programs, learning Google was a branch out, but also well learned and I find comparatively they are both relatively easy to use.

I understand privacy issues once I read them. When it comes to Google I did not  pay to much attention on privacy statements. I was more focused on the fine print when it came to social media sites. I do have a better understanding now that all sites have legal issues that are addressed and do need to be understood when it comes to database privacy.

I think if any changes were made to the course, it would be to focus more on a few topics rather than a handful. The feeling I got was that for many who are first time college students, this class might have been a bit overwhelming with the numerous different readings along with weekly assignments, I am not a fresh student but I certainly had my plate full with this class amongst others.

Overall, I think  the class was a nice change in the course selection. I do not see why women, community and technology cannot all be combined in one course as they all correlate in this day in age. I would certainly recommend this course to anyone in the future.
